Proudly Filipino-owned, Café Buhay is rooted in community, flavor, and slow moments done right.

Founded in 2024 by Grant Encarnacion out of spite and burnout from working in a corporate environment, Café Buhay was created as a dream to restore third-places and genuine human connection via specialty coffee.

With many years of experience in the specialty coffee industry as trained baristas and coffee roasting, Café Buhay intends to encourage curiosity and education about the complexities of specialty coffee through the most approachable ways and products possible.

Café Buhay is dedicated to constantly expanding their coffee knowledge, and has achieved a combined number of certifications recognized by the following organizations:

• Specialty Coffee Association (SCA)
• Canadian Barista Institute (CBI)
